Interesting Statistics

When Fabio Capello announced his 23 man England World Cup squad, there was controversy as Emile Heskey was picked ahead of Darren Bent. Heskey's goal record for England has been criticised heavily and when comparing his record against certain goalkeepers, there are some interesting results...
Emile Heskey
(England)
Goals- 7
Caps- 58
Games per goal- 8.3
Rene Higuita
(Columbia)
Goals- 8
Caps 68
Games per goal- 8.5
Jose Luis Chilavert
(Paraguay)
Goals- 8
Caps- 74
Games per goal- 9.3
So there are TWO GOALKEEPERS who have scored more international goals than a man who is playing alongside some of the best players in the world. And it gets worse...this season, Rogério Ceni, Goalkeeper for Sao Paulo, scored more goals than Heskey did for Aston Villa! That ought to cheer Darren Bent up...

A selection of Jose Luis Chilvert goals...

Fair enough they were good goals, but you can't beat the class or skill of a top, international striker...show them how it's done heskey

A man at the end actually leaves after keskey's miss :(
