France on verge of elimination
Ireland fans had a big smile on their faces last night as France were embaressed by Mexico in a 2-0 defeat which leaves them needing a win and other results to go their way in order to progress. Relationships between manager Raymond Domenech and players have been criticised and this seemed evident with Domenech seeming disinterested during the whole match and French subs standing behind the goal in order to not be brought on. Nigeria throw it away
Nigeria are facing elimination after throwing away victory against Greece. They took the lead when Uche's free kick missed everyone and went in however Kaita got himself sent off for kicking Torosidis (moron) and the game changed.
