Swiss beat Spain in major shock
Switzerland have caused one of the greatest World Cup upsets by beating the favourites Spain. Iker Casillas, who criticised England keepers earlier this week, beat Eren Derdiyok to a through ball but knocked it onto his teammate Pique. After a bundle between the swiss striker and spanish defender, Manchester City's Fernandes popped up to put the Swiss ahead. The result means that if Switzerland manage at least a win and a draw against Chile and Honduras then Spain will play Brazil in the next round!

Forlan shines as Uraguay thrash Bafana
Diego Forlan scored two and made one as Uraguay beat Bafana Bafana (SA) 3-0 to go top of Group A and put themselves in a decent position to win the group. The former Man Utd striker has had great season at Athletico Madrid having scored the winner against Liverpool and Fulham in the last two rounds of the Europa League
