I can't say I've been watching Roland Garros (the french, clay court, grand slam) with any real enthusiam as the early rounds seem fairly boring; the main sponser has the rather annoying/unfortunate name 'BNP Paribas' and everyone is waiting for the inevitable Murray vs Federer final.Nadal is favourite for the tournament having won it 4 times in the last 5 years (missed out last year due to injury) and is looking in good form with a comfortable 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 win over Lleyton Hewitt.
Murray has been moving through the rounds with less ease after an unconvincing 5-set win against Richard Gasquet in the second round and in order to win his first grand slam will need to beat Berdych, Tsonga, Federer and Nadal.
Hey, at least if he wins I might forgive him for this:
